What to Expect
Celebrate Galentine’s Day with a rewarding walk up Bunster Hill from Ilam. It’s a tough climb that really works the legs, but the effort is more than worth it, the views along the way are stunning and make every step count. We’ll finish in the best possible way, with well-earned coffee and cake at the National Trust café, the perfect chance to relax, chat, and celebrate friendship together.
We have a steep incline to start but it's worth it. We can take it slow and steady, the views are great to stop and look at. There is some rocky limestone right at the top which may be slippy when wet. The actually summit is hidden in a wooded area. The way down is very steady with the last descent along a tarmacked drive. There is livestock throughout, a lot of sheep.
