Join us for a relaxed social walk setting off from Loaf Bakery in Crich, taking in the beautiful local scenery at a gentle pace. We'll return to the bakery afterwards to enjoy some well-earned coffee and cake together, perfect for catching up with friends old and new.

Time: 9:30 - 13:00
Start/Finish: The Market Place Crich, Crich, Matlock, DE4 5DD. Finish at the Loaf Bakery , just down the road, for coffee and Cake.
Facilities: Public Toilets up the road from the market place. Loaf cafe has a toilet. Shop and butchers selling snacks opposite the market place. The Old Black Swan up the road.

What to Expect
Welcome to the Sunday Social Walking Club from Loaf Bakery , Crich! We will head out on a steady 4 to 5 mile walk with our dogs, exploring a different route through the beautiful village and surrounding countryside. It’s a great way to meet new people, socialise our dogs, catch up with friends, and simply enjoy some fresh air. All are welcome, just bring your boots, your pup, and a smile!
We will be doing a different walk each time but they will always involve ascents and descents (Crich is on top of a hill after all!) The ground will be uneven with tree roots and rocks. We will be walking through fields with livestock and need to be respectful in places such as Crich Tramway Museum and Crich Stand Memorial. Coming into Autumn and winter the ground will be slippy and wet, though we will attempt some drier (cleaner for the dogs) options where possible.
Loaf doesn't bake fresh on a Sunday and runs on a reduced menu so please be aware some items may not be available. If it's busy we can always grab something to go and find a seat elsewhere.
