What to Expect
Enjoy a gentle stroll from Tissington to the charming village of Parwich, wandering quiet lanes and pastoral paths between two of the Peak District’s prettiest spots. It’s a relaxed outing with plenty of village character, perfectly finished with a well-earned cuppa at Herbert’s Fine Tea Rooms back in Tissington.
This is a steady stroll through two villages. There is a steep descent and descent right at the start that, even though small, can be a bit of a killer. We will be walking a mixture of fields and gravelled tracks. The fields can get muddy and will have livestock in, a mixture of sheep and cows. This would be classed as an easy walk if it wasn't for the initial ascent and numerous stiles.
